Thanks Puntjuh I also installed the drivers by using rpm2tgz and installpkg set up the printer with cups and the test page printed, the lijux is detected as default so I tried to print a few diferent text files a mousepad file, a vim file and some random stuff and the printer comes up when using the print command but jfc240c printer doesn't do anything.
