So we are fouidsynth talking about Windows's native midi support, which is crap. I do not know of any stuttering. FluidSynth itself does not have a graphical user interface, but due to its powerful API several applications utilize it and it has even found its way onto embedded systems and is used in some mobile apps. The program uses the samples included in the SoundFont files and processes the sounds by using SoundFont instruments.
