I hope Interlink will develop a better green laser powerpoint remote lacking the programmable buttons so it isn't necessary to waste money on that feature which also contributes to the slightly unwieldy size of the Jade. They did have a work-around suggestion: Why is this review inappropriate? It's very easy to advance a slide instead of the laser and vice versa.
The function is great, and I love that any custom configuration is stored on the non volatile memory of the dongle instead of your machine giving you rrf flexibility to use other peoples computers as needed.
