This is an amazing scanner, the quality is incredible, and it is faster than most parallel scanners. It was 4 months of a nightmare with software that ultimately corrupted the win95 operating system. I purchased this product about a year ago. This item doesn't belong on this page.

Microtek ScanMaker X6 - flatbed scanner Series
I reccommended this microotek my family, and they also bought one. The only "technical" problem I have encountered is that, if the scanner is off at startup, a dialog box tells you that the scanner was not detected. I just downloaded the driver from the Microtek website and use the scanner software in Windows XP.
